My name is Bennett Jobling.

I have been designing content and features for games for over 10 years. I am originally from the Bay Area but now I live in Los Angeles. I have worked as a designer, writer, illustrator, 3D modeler, QA agent, and creative director. I love empathic design that evokes strong emotions in users - emotion creates memories, and I want people to remember the experiences I have built.

When I’m not creating features and narratives for exciting, story-driven, games, I like to explore the city for new coffee.

I Play a lot of video games

I have played 928 out of the 1223 games that I own on steam. On average I play about seven new games every month.

This does not reflect the games played on XBox, Playstation, Switch, Mobile, Epic Games, Origin, UPlay, Oculus….

Note: These numbers reflect my games from 2019 when i first built this page, they have not been recalculated for 2022. It’s still mostly RPGs.

I’m a snob about coffee

I have visited over 250 specialty coffee shops in Los Angeles alone.

My favorite coffee is Destroyer. They are also an amazing restaurant. I recommend a hot mocha and a piece of spice cake.
